Landing Zones

Before migrating or deploying any resources into the cloud, it is important to understand and setup a good foundation. Building a solid foundation then allows you to deploy your applications securely one by one using best practice. Most clouds offer a managed service to deploy sets of infrastructure or templates into their cloud environment.

AWS offer a managed service AWS Tower (CFA) to define their methodology and a framework in which to deploy your cloud resources. CFA describes 2 ways to enter the Microsoft Azure cloud, described below.

Custom Built

Standard or pre-defined templates can of course be deployed as AWS Landing Zones. SQLBuild will help deploying these examples.

AWS Tower is a managed service offered by AWS to help in the design and deploy a secure, scalable, multi account landing zone.
